And...we're officially starting the touring! Because of the huge number of pictures, I'm splitting this post into two parts.
We arrived in Hiroshima via Willer Express from Osaka late the night before (maybe 11pm-12am ish?) and we had to take a taxi to our backpacker accommodation because all the trams had stopped running for the night. Luckily we had the address of the place in our emails because I don't think the driver knew what J-Hoppers was. We originally wanted to try to walk to the hostel but Google maps told us it was 45 minutes away on foot. Or something like that so we decided to splurge on the taxi :P Read More
We'll be going through a series of posts about our 6 month travel adventure around Asia (mostly Japan, Borneo, Indonesia, Hong Kong and China). We originally wanted to do this blog while we travelled but conditions were non conducive - poor internet connection/access, inability to process photos quickly enough, fatigue etc... I am very excited about the start of this blog because I get to talk about all the adventures we went through and all the yummy food we ate! Read More
So it's Sunday Heyday again and this week I've decided to dig up a treasure from my 6 month Asia travels with Martina. As the title suggests, it's about turtles on Selingan Turtle Island, Sabah Malaysia. 1 hour boat ride north of Sandakan. This blog post is about our 1 day and 1 night stay on the island and a beautiful and exclusive moment with a turtle mother. Read More
This post marks the start of "Sunday Heyday" blog posts. I'm hoping this will continue as a weekly affair for as long as I can keep it up. I was initially thinking of calling it "Sunday Funday", but thought it was an overused catchphrase. Hope it catches on ;) Read More
So January 4th was Martina's birthday.
We had brunch at Bills with Soojin, Henry and Erica. It wasn't too bad. I'll leave the commentary to Martina. Though I didn't take any pictures of the food. The photo taking came afterwards, in the Queen Victoria Building (QVB).
All pictures today were taken with the M.Zuiko 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 II R lens, except otherwise stated. Read More
