Review: Jugemu & Shimbashi

I found out about Jugemu/Shimbashi while on the way home from work in Dee Why. I was just sitting on the bus while it was at a bus stop and I noticed the restaurant sign across the street saying "手打ちそば" i.e. hand made soba and I was intrigued. So I google searched the restaurant and read a few reviews and they all seemed positive which made me want to try the place out since both MF and I loved trying out soba from different areas while we were in Japan. We had fears about trying out soba in Sydney because we've had such good soba we didn't want to be disappointed.

Review: Kyoto Food

It's time for another food review. This is about Kyoto and all the good food it has to offer. 

On our first night, we decided we wanted to have all-you-can-eat hotpot. The first time we were in Kyoto back in Nov 2012, MF, LW and I went to an all-you-can-eat hotpot place and we all still remember how good it was. The meat they served back then was really good! Unfortunately, we did not have a name or remember the exact location of the restaurant so we thought if we just wandered about in the general area of where we thought it was, we'd be able to find it.
